The Warden is steeled Willpower incarnate for half a second. A force of vengeance ready to cut down an army if that's what it takes to get to his goal.
"Rook--!" Harding calls down from below. "You alright up there?"
Jim's gaze flits from Illario (softens immediately into desperate relief) to the little girl looking shaken but safe where Illario had her take shelter.
"There's a kid, Harding!" Jim calls back down. "Check the houses for something clean for her?"
"On it!"
Jim's shoulders slump and he takes a moment to lean down and cup the back of Illario's neck. Glances to the child with a reassuring smile.
"I'm a Grey Warden." He says. "Do you fancy a piggy back ride while I get us down from here?" She clings tighter to Illario at first so Jim glances to his love then. "I feel like I'll be giving Serah Crow a piggy back ride down too. Don't you worry."
