Jim flashes Adia and Caspar a brilliant smile, pleased to hear people asking after his crew.

"They're both here as a matter of fact. Bones has probably been sticking close to the bar with Mister Scott, my chief engineer. If Spock's not with a dark haired woman judging the quality of the music here I'd be willing to be he's found the most crowded area of the party just for a chance to mingle and talk to people from other worlds. Though, admittedly, most of my crew are the curious sort." A glance toward Felix. "Maybe not Lieutenant Norn, so much. Did he come today? I haven't seen him."

Jim nods at the assessment of Stratos' wherabouts. He's seen the man once or twice so far but they haven't had the chance to talk for long. Stratos is bound to be around somewhere. Nor does he speak up at mention of the Halloween Adia mentions. His jaw clenches and smile strains just a bit but the wounds of that night are far away enough now for him not to falter. One more trial he's come out of the other side from.

It won't stop him from being grateful to see them move on though. Even if the subject turns unprofessional quickly. Caspar even startles a small chuckle from the captain.

"I've yet to see anything that potent from an Alchemy table. Not sure they can manage that kind of upper. I was thinking something closer to the line of caffeine pills." The captain is neglecting to account for the fact that he is a novice alchemist. As such, Felix has never shown him anything more potent than the most minor of potions. At least so far he doesn't remember the only times he's ever had to drink a more potent healing draught. He points to Caspar then, grinning outright once more.

"It probably is still magic though, I'll give you that."
