Han hadn't exactly gone out of his way to inform her of the finer details of this place or it's population, so Leia was largely unsure of what the Enterprise was and almost completely blind to Starfleet. She knew pilots liked to have their own ships and so she'd made that an avenue of conversation, it opened other doors.

"I can sympathize with paperwork, it takes up far more of my time than I'd like." She nodded as he continued, her smile growing as he spoke with such clear enthusiasm.

"Your manners are fine, it's good to see such passion for what you do, it means the job is more like a life choice than work." But she supposed she could offer up some conversation of her own. "I am currently traveling with Captain Solo, I don't know if you know him or not. I wish we had pilots and navigators like yourself, good shipmen are hard to find, so we have Solo."
