Date: 2025-02-06 12:48 am (UTC)Or, well, he does until Jim Kirk presses a kiss to his hand and Spock chokes on a breath, his eyes widening again. He tries to tell himself (over and over) that Terrans, humans especially, do not see hands the same way Vulcans do.
It does not help.
By the time Jim's eyes flutter open Spock is staring at him openly, his face flushed green all the way to the tips of his ears. His knuckles are still tingling and a warmth is coiling in his stomach.
Spock has never in his life been this flustered, much less so in front of Jim. But he clearly is, and in a positive way.
He clears his throat, trying to regain his composure. "Please elucidate on what you are struggling to believe."
Does that sound normal?
