Don't believe in no-win scenarios

Yeah Jim's got no damn clue that what he's doing is Very Much not chaste and romantic and suave like he thinks it is. That this is probably extremely intimate even if it's the back of the hand like this. What he does know is that Spock is blushing furiously when Jim peers up at him. He can't help his triumphant little grin to see it either. That's a stroke to the ego Jim didn't even know he needed right now.

"How long?" Jim asks, his smile widening when Spock fights to clear his throat. A beat, and if Spock doesn't look like he knows how to answer Jim will add,

"How long has it been me?"
