A Very Nexus Reception

To all the friends of the happy grooms, PINpoint messages have already been sent weeks ago inviting them to expect quite the street party arranged in the commons of the Nexus. Guests have been invited to bring an appetite--both for food and for a social adventure. Nirnish weddings are public affairs, after all. While the ceremony has had to be somewhat sequestered for the sake of keeping the existence of Other Worlds a secret, neither Felix nor Jim would want to leave out their interdimensional friends entirely. Having a reception party arranged in the Nexus became the natural plan of action.
Overnight large sections of the Commons are transformed via diligent craftsmanship and quite a lot of magic from those who’ve volunteered. Lanterns representing the Divines are hung along every lamp post, bringing at least the idea of warmth even if the flames are too small to heat their surroundings alone. Bardic tunes carry in the air as readily as the scent of food and drink. Past banners of red and black, blue and white the people gather.
For both grooms this is nearly a continuation of the day before. They’ve had the chance to sleep off the nerves of their ceremony. Today is entirely for celebration--uninhibited celebration at that. No more minding what is said and isn’t. No more pretending to be anything other than who they are. Jim’s traded out his Nirnish finery for a suit and tie, garments he’s much more familiar with. Felix is staying with his native clothing; though he may have dressed down a little from his wedding clothes, the conjurer’s dressed in fitted breeches and his best fur-trimmed coat and boots, the soft hide dyed blue to match his tunic. By their side sits the conjurer’s spectral wolf familiar, ears pricked at the gathering.
As the guests find their ways over it will be easy to spot their friends amidst all the decor along with many other avenues with which to enjoy themselves….

You're in public and haven't greeted the wedding couple yet. You have to stay until you at least do that much. You can do this. You can and will do this.
He smiles when the treat is offered to him and gently takes the whole piece in at once. He has less finesse than the angel at this, and his lips noticeably brush over Aziraphale's fingertips as he closes his mouth. He exhales an approving hum as he savors the bite, eyes closing behind his sunglasses to give him another moment to recover. It's an exquisite dessert and the flavor helps him focus on what's happening now rather than on all the other thoughts rolling around in his head.
"Wonderful," he agrees when he's finished the treat. "Everything's been amazing." The food and the company, though Crowley would say the latter far exceeds the former.

He would never actually do that, but a proper snogging is most definitely in order once they've congratulated the grooms and thanked them for their generosity.
"You're so good to me, dear," he murmurs, a hand brushing Crowley's cheek while the demon recovers. And, as he remembers the time that he fed Crowley a chocolate biscuit and ended up with crumbs everywhere, he can't help but tease, "And your technique has vastly improved, as well."

There's not much space for much else when Aziraphale is so close and showering him with little reminders of his affection. The demon takes another breath and presses his forehead to the angel's for some stability. "Promise we'll be good to each other when we get home?"
It's a question that has to be asked. Crowley knows the answer already (the perks of living together, thank Hell!), but putting it out there will definitely help set the stage when he drops all semblance of propriety the second they're back in their flat. They're going to get quite the workout once they're home and there's no chance of being bothered and Crowley is 110% okay with this.

Any trepidation he might have once had about not enjoying the physical intimacies of a relationship disappeared that first night he and Crowley kissed for hours, tangled up on the couch in the back room of the bookshop. It turns out that he was only waiting for the right person to kiss to enjoy it, and that person happened to be his best friend of over six thousand years. What an amazing turn of events! He'd snort at his own past fears if he wasn't currently contemplating what he and the beautiful demon in his arms would be getting up to once they returned home.
He gives Crowley a kiss for good measure, lips sealed to his. "But we don't have any of these other treats at home," he mock laments. "Best enjoy them while we're here."
